HOPE EARLY INTERVENTION CENTRE
Early Intervention is the key to understand the development delays/ milestone issues and to device appropriate intervention plan. This will reduce the magnitude of the disability and will open up huge scope for independent living in future.
Hope Early Intervention Centre is a bold step in that direction, founded on the mission of providing holistic rehabilitation services with Multidisciplinary approach for the children with complex development issues, challenging behaviour, autism, Cerebral Palsy, intellectual disability, speech language disorder and global developmental delay etc. We are located at Pallithazhe, Thalassery, Kannur district serving children from nearby localities. Our study has shown that there is no such initiative offering interdisciplinary services around this locality and all needy people are dependent on centres based in Calicut or centres outside the state. Children in the age of 0-6 from most poor families are given preference in our treatment.
A professional team assesses the child and draws up a rehabilitation programme based on his or her assessment. Based on the child’s needs, goals are set and therapies carried out for the children, making sure to involve their parents in the therapy sessions. Under HOPE EIC, all emotional, social, psychological, mental, physical and functional aspects are considered as part of the rehabilitation plan for the child.
In most cases, our therapists adopt an interdisciplinary approach because a special child benefits the most when they receive simultaneous intervention on multiple fronts.
We recognize that parents are integral to our team and that their support and commitment when combined with our therapies, enables a child to maximize their potential. At the end of each session, our therapists will review the session, note down observations and strongly encourage parents to continue the therapies at home.
Our Management Team
Look back at some of the greatest things accomplished, and you’ll find that a good team was behind it. We also got a good team behind Hope Early Intervention Center.
